Just found out thanks to Al Andersen http://www.digicaptures.com that this is not the Desert Marigold. In fact it looks more like "Encelia farinosa" or Brittlebush.

We went up north for thanksgiving and also to visit family. We had a few hours so we took Craig to temple Square. Here is a side shot I took to fit more of the temple into the shot. I think it turned out pretty good.
